Some Broome Residents Vote in Congressional Primary June 26
The Broome County Board of Elections would like to make sure residents are up-to-speed on the Federal Primary Election on Tuesday, June 26.
Officials say Broome County is part of the New York’s 22nd and 19th Congressional Districts but there are no Federal Primaries in the 22nd District.
There are Democratic and Women’s Equality Party primaries for Eastern Broome County portions falling in the 19th District.
Voters are eligible to participate in the Tuesday Primary if they live in the Town of Sanford’s 2nd or 3rd Election Districts and are registered to the Democratic or Women’s Equality Party.
The polling site is at the Sanford Town Hall from noon to 9 p-m.
For more information, visit the Board of Elections on Facebook, on the website at Broomevotes.com or by calling the office at (607) 778-2172.
