Early voting in an unprecedented second primary election in New York begins August 13 before the Congressional and State Senate in-person party votes.

Governor Kathy Hochul issued a proclamation on Saturday, June 4 to set the special elections to fill vacancies in the U.S. House of Representatives.

U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (D-Schenectady) is resigning from Congress and will be sworn in as New York Lieutenant Governor.
