Shots Fired During a Verbal Dispute in Roxbury

New York State Police say a Roxbury man is accused of shooting rounds into the air from an unlawfully possessed assault rifle during a dispute at 2:58 a.m. May 27 on Butternut Lane.

57 year old Kenneth Hinkley is said to have fired the shots during a verbal dispute.  There were no reports of injuries

He’s charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon and was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $2,000 bail.
