Residents whose waste water travels through the Binghamton-Johnson City Joint Sewage Treatment Plant are seeing their fees going up again.

The plant has been under reconstruction following flooding in 2006 and 2011 as well as the collapse faulty structures.

During the January 9 board meeting, officials found the costs of building a flood wall and new pump stations has been going up.  No exact figures on what that will mean to residents and businesses are available.

The rebuild is supposed to be finished by March of next year.
