Sewage Truck Crashes in Delaware County

New York State Police are investigating the cause of a tanker truck crash on Route 17 West near Hale Eddy in Delaware County at around 6:08 a.m. August 8.

Troopers say at least part of the highway was closed for hours as authorities worked to find an appropriate tow vehicle to remove the tanker loaded with sewage from the scene.

None of the material apparently spilled.

There were no reports of injuries.
