Several Delaware County Fires Are Under Investigation

Officials in Delaware County are asking anyone with information about any of three recent fires to contact them.

Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire early in the morning of October 21st at Sundae’s Restaurant on State Highway 23 in Grand Gorge.

The authorities say they are also investigation a September 27^th blaze at Becker Tire Service and a leaf fire October 23tf on Intake Road in Grand Gorge.

The fire on reservoir property was discovered by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police as they were patrolling Intake Road.

Sheriff’s officials and the DEP Detectives are trying to identify a small, faded black or primer gray pickup truck that was seen in the area before the fire was discovered.
