$3 Million In New Funding For Greater Binghamton Airport
February 27, 2023, it was announced that the Greater Binghamton Airport would be awarded $7 million in federal funding for terminal upgrades, through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Terminal Program.
At that time, Representative Marc Molinaro noted that the improvements included reconstructing the passenger hold room, replacing HVAC equipment with reliable and energy-efficient units, installing two new passenger boarding bridges, and expanding its exterior canopy.
Today (May 6, 2024), Congressman Molinaro announced the Greater Binghamton Airport will receive an additional $3 million in federal funding for airport terminal upgrades, from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Terminal Program.
