Sawed-Off Shotgun and Crystal Meth Found in Johnson City Raid

A Johnson City resident is facing numerous charges after a search of a Grand Avenue apartment turned up a sawed-off shotgun, drugs and packaging material.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force along with the Metro SWAT Team arrested Haven Strong May 18.

Strong is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon with a previous conviction and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He is also charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say they found crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales and cutting agents along with the sawed-off 12 gage shotgun.
