The Annual Sacred Heart Ukrainian Church Festival finished with a big crowd on Sunday.  The Festival is held at the church's picnic grounds just off Brooks Road in Castle Creek.

Hundreds of people of all ages turned out to enjoy delicious ethnic food.  One of the most popular items was the Ukrainian Dinner featuring Kobassa and Kraut, Holubsti and Pyrohy.  By late afternoon they had sold out of Pyrohy.  Also popular was bottled Ukrainian Beer with three different types offered.

Rooster and the Road House Horns with Freddie Mendoza provided the entertainment and even featured some polka favorites to amp up the crowd.  Proceeds raised from the annual festival go to help fund various church projects.
