Rubber Check Reported in Town of Groton

A Homer woman is facing a felony charge after New York State Police say a business owner in the Town of Groton complained about getting a bad check March 21.

38 year old Kathleen Bell is charged with felony grand larceny and misdemeanor issuing a bad check for writing a slip for the purchase of over $2,000 worth of concrete but not having enough money in the account.

Bell was released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in Town of Groton Court at a later date.
