Roundabout Snares Load of Construction Material [WATCH]

Traffic is being detoured away from a section of the Binghamton Roundabout on Court Street this morning after a tractor trailer carrying an oversize load had a portion of that load fall off blocking a section of the Roundabout.

Binghamton police are directing traffic heading eastbound on Court Street off and onto State Street while the fallen cargo is being removed.  It appears cargo came into contact with one of the signs on the perimeter of the Roundabout and that pulled a portion of the load off the truck and onto the Roundabout heading east.

No injuries were reported.  It is expected that it will take some time to remove the piece of that load from blocking traffic.  Binghamton police remain on the scene.
