Remlik's Grille and Oyster Bar located in the Kilmer Building at 31 Lewis Street in Binghamton is participating in Binghamton Restaurant Week that runs through September 25th.  As part of Binghamton Restaurant Week Remlik's is offering three course lunches for 12 dollars or less and three course dinners for 25 dollars or less.

My wife Beth and I had dinner last evening at Remlik's and had a wonderful time.  Despite a jam-packed dining area and large crowd our service was excellent and the food was delicious.

I started out enjoying Baked Potato with Bacon Soup as the first course.  I love soup and this was tasty and excellent in flavor.  My wife enjoyed fried ravioli which also was a great choice to begin the meal.

For the second or main course Beth had the Papparadelle Bolognese which is a combination of Braised beef, short rib, pork, roma tomatoes, pasta and ricotta cheese.  It is a unique dish, very filling and very good.  I had the Prime Sirloin Au Poivre which features grilled prime sirloin, brandy peppercorn, cream sauce and whipped potatoes.  I loved the prime sirloin...it was prepared perfectly.

For dessert we enjoyed a couple of tasty treats.  I had a cream puff with a coating of chocolate sauce while Beth had their dish of pumpkin custard .

Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience.  Jason, our server, was excellent.  Hopefully, you will get a chance to visit, too...especially during Binghamton Restaurant Week.
