Red-Hot Devils Win Fourth in a Row
The Binghamton Devils continued their red-hot play with a day game victory in Toronto against the Marlies. Today's (Wednesday's) final score was Binghamton 5 the Marlies 3. It is the second win in three days in Toronto for the Devils. With the victory Binghamton now has 56 points...one behind fourth place Toronto in the American Hockey League's North Division. The top four teams qualify for the playoffs.
An empty-net goal from Matt Tennyson with under three minutes to play sealed the win for Binghamton. Gilles Senn made 32 saves to earn the win in goal for the Devils.
The Devils return home for two games this weekend...both against the Charlotte Checkers. Faceoff for both games is scheduled for 7:05 at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
