Preston Wins Independence Primary Election

With more than 70% of the vote, Debbie Preston has won the Independence Primary Election that took place last Thursday.  The current tally shows Preston with 448 votes and 190 votes for her challenger Tarik Abdelazim.

Preston says she is "thankful that everything that [she's] done to move the County forward was recognized by the voters on Thursday."

Preston will appear on the November 6th ballot on the Republican, Conservative, and Independence lines.
