A Port Crane man will serve nine years in prison in connection with a January drug bust linking him to a Georgia-based white supremacist gang.

31 year old Brett Poyer was arrested at a home on Rogers Road where authorities found over two pounds of methamphetamine.  He pleaded guilty in August to the entire five count indictment against him after admitting to struggling with years of drug addiction.

Poyer had a prior felony grand larceny conviction dating back to April of 2017.

In addition to the prison time, Poyer is to be on parole for five years following release.

Co-defendant Jodi Bickos also pleaded guilty in August.
