Port Crane Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Child Porn Charges
A Port Crane man is admitting to possessing child pornography, some involving children younger than 12-years-old.
55-year-old Jack Hiller pleaded guilty June 19 in Federal Court, admitting he used the Kik computer software app to receive sexually explicit images of children. Hiller also admitted he knowingly stored photos and videos of child pornography on one of his electronic devices.
He is to be sentenced in November to up to 20 years in prison. Hiller will be fined up to $250,000, be required to register as a sex offender and could be under supervised post-release supervision at least five years and up to the rest of his life.
