Police Accuse Binghamton Man of DWI and Speeding on Rt. 201

A Binghamton man has date in Johnson City Village Court after Broome County sheriff’s Deputies say they clocked him driving 75 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour zone on Route 201 South at 1:42 a.m. May 17.

The authorities say 38 year old Matthew Sullivan admitted he had been drinking before getting behind the wheel.

Sullivan is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content at .08% or greater and speeding.

He was ordered to appear in Village Court at a later date.
