No Strawberry Festival in Owego This Year

Owego’s hugely popular celebration of everything strawberry won’t be happening this year.

Organizers say there will be no Strawberry Festival in June with sights now set for holding the event next year.

This was to be the 40^th Strawberry Festival in Tioga County.

Officials say there just wasn’t enough time to get everything in place to host a large gathering of people should restrictions from the coronavirus pandemic actually be lifted before June.
