Area municipalities have events planned to observe the National Night Out Against Crime.

Food, drink, music, displays and activities for children are planned at the Endwell United Methodist Church from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The City of Binghamton has activities at several locations.  The Boys and Girls Club and Carlisle Apartments block parties start at 1 p.m. with other locations in Binghamton at the Broome County Library, Fairview Park and Columbus Park.  Activities include emergency vehicles on display, Police K9 demonstrations and a petting zoo.

Vestal’s Night Out to promote crime prevention is at the Parkway Plaza parking lot in Vestal for a cruise in from 6 to 9 p.m.  There will also be give-aways, a dunk tank to benefit the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, and a cookout to benefit the Crime Victims Assistance Center.
