New Endwell Tavern to Enable Golfers to “Play” at Famous Courses
Golfing enthusiasts soon will be able to put their skills to the test at an Endwell establishment that will feature three high-tech simulators and a bar.
Chad Kies, a partner in the business, said the place will be called The Fairways. It will be located at a site that previously was used by Ruby & Sons Jewelers.
Renovation work in the plaza at Hooper and Country Club roads is about to get underway. A mural on the building featuring a rendering of a golf course was completed a couple of weeks ago.
Kies said three "high-end" TrackMan golf simulators will allow golfers to experience playing at more than 150 famous courses from around the world.
The Fairways also will serve food from a limited menu in a 3,200-square-foot venue that will be equipped with nine 82-inch TV sets to enable patrons to watch various sporting events.
Kies expects the business to be open before October. He said the establishment will give area golfers a place to "play" during the winter.
