Motorcycle Crashes Under Truck in Virgil

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a crash that resulted in a motorcyclist being airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

Officials say at 3:48 p.m. September 16, 45 year old Thomas Horner of Cortland apparently lost controlled of his motorcycle on Route 11 in Virgil and crashed into a Rent-A-Center truck where he became trapped. Fire and medical officials assisted in pulling him from under the vehicle.

His condition has not been released.
