Tonight's (Tuesday's) scheduled Binghamton versus New Hampshire game at NYSEG Stadium has been postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 PM Wednesday (4:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  It is the 16th postponement of the season and 12th at home...both franchise records.  The Ponies had their seven-game winning streak snapped on Monday night as they fell to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7-6 in ten innings at NYSEG Stadium.  P J Conlon suffered the loss in relief when he walked in the eventual game-winning run in the tenth. Conlon's record falls to 8-9.

Over 4,000 fans turned out to watch Matt Harvey start the game on the mound in a Major League Rehab assignment.  Harvey is recovering from arm and shoulder problems.  He pitched three innings and gave up two runs on four hits while throwing 53 pitches. Harvey said he had no idea if he will make another start in Binghamton or return to New York.

The Rumble Ponies record now stands at 75-50 and their magic number for clinching a playoff spot is four.  Binghamton needs a combination of wins and Reading losses totaling four to clinch a postseason berth.
