Missing 92-Year-Old Otsego Man Found by State Police K-9 Unit
An Oneonta-area resident who had been reported missing was located by a New York State Police K-9 unit.
Authorities say the 92-year-old man left his home on Sheep Pen Road early Monday evening but did not return. His family notified police on Tuesday afternoon.
State police, forest rangers, firefighters and neighbors searched the area for the man.
Trooper Darrell Denning and his K-9 partner Kin found the man shortly after 4 p.m. about a mile-and-a-half from his residence. He had fallen down a hill and was unable to return home.
The man was taken to A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta for treatment. His condition was not reported.
