Minor Injuries Reported in Tioga County Tractor Trailer Crash

New York State Police are investigating a crash shortly after 4 a.m. May 15 that left a tractor trailer driver injured.

What appeared to be a CVS truck crashed on Route 17 eastbound near Exit 64 in Owego at around 4:15a.m., blocking both eastbound lanes.

Traffic was being detoured onto Route 17C at Exit 62 through the morning commute.

State Police reported the Southern Tier Expressway in the area reopened at 10:10 a.m.

The driver of the truck sustained a non-life threatening injury.
