Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they found a Port Crane man had a blood alcohol level at almost three times the legal limit (.23%) when he crashed his truck on Pleasant Hill Road in Port Crane.

Authorities say 25 year old Chad Congdon wasn’t hurt in spite of his truck leaving the road at 6:20 p.m. April, hitting several small trees and rolling over.

Congdon is charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more, speeding, and moving from a lane unsafely.

He’s to appear in Town of Colesville Court at a later date.
