In April 2014, Binghamton-based Mirabito announced it was acquiring all of the Manley's sites in Broome and Tompkins counties.

The transition to the Mirabito name has been a gradual process. The Manley's Mighty Mart signage and markings at the stores have been vanishing in recent months.

Sign crews have been busy this week at the former Manley's store on Downs Avenue in the Town of Dickinson.

The final task was installing a temporary Mirabito banner atop a 60-foot sign post visible from nearby Route 17. The sign crew had to wait a day for winds to die down before that put that banner in place.

One final "Manley's Mighty Mart" sign was spotted in Binghamton. That sign - above the gasoline pumps at the Clinton Street store in the First Ward - is expected to be replaced with the Mirabito name next week.
