Man Who Stole $3,115 in Computers From Walmart Sought
Police are trying to track down a suspect in the theft of several laptop computers from a Walmart Supercenter.
Authorities say the merchandise valued at $3,115 was stolen from the Walmart store on the Texas Palmyra Highway in Honesdale on Friday.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a man wearing a navy-blue New York Yankees cap took five laptop computers that were on display. The thief then drove out of the parking lot in a gray 4-door sedan.
Investigators say the suspect was wearing a blue plaid button-down shirt.
Police checked with other Walmart stores in the region to determine whether the man may have committed other larcenies. None of the stores contacted reported any similar recent incidents.
