Man Naps in Stolen U-Haul

Johnson City Police say an Orlando, Florida man found sleeping in a U-Haul truck in the WalMart parking lot is facing a felony charge.

A Patrol officer checked on the truck in the parking lot at around 12:15 a.m. May 16 and felt the vehicle appeared suspicious.

Authorities say they ran a check of the license plate on the rental vehicle and found it had been reported stolen.

55 year old Wayne Eiss is charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.

Police say Eiss is accused of taking the vehicle from an acquaintance in Orange County Florida May 11 and driving it to New York.

Eiss was sent to the Broome County Jail.
