Man Arrested for Liberty Street Stabbing

Binghamton Police are reporting an arrest in the September 6 shooting of a man on Liberty Street.

Authorities have arrested 25 year old Vernon Riddick of Endicott for the wounding of the 27 year old.

Authorities say Riddick was arrested during a traffic stop and gave authorities a false name.

The victim was treated for a stab wound to the leg.

Riddick is charged with attempted murder and criminal impersonation.
