The Agency, formerly known as the Industrial Development Agency, is encouraging residents to buy locally made products and services.

Speaking on the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up, Agency Deputy Director of Community & Economic Development, Stacey Duncan, talks about the decision to re-brand the IDA under the broader umbrella of The Agency, changes in the economic make up of the county and future expected growth paired with Binghamton University and SUNY Broome.

Duncan also talks about the new Made in Broome initiative that promotes local products and services while helping residents to improve their own perceptions of what the county has to offer.
