Loaded Weapons and Drugs Seized in Tompkins St., Binghamton Raid
Four out of five people found in a Binghamton apartment with a quantity of drugs are facing charges under an investigation into the sale of narcotics in the area.
The Metro SWAT Team searched an apartment at 7 Tompkins Street Friday, November 12 and found methamphetamine, fentanyl and loaded guns.
The Broome Special Investigations Unit Task Force says 31-year-old Dupray Jordan was arrested on three felony counts each of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as two misdemeanor criminal use of drug paraphernalia charges.
58-year-old Frederick Basa is charged with three felony weapons possession counts and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
46-year-old Brandi Ruffell is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
29-year-old Dianna Jones is charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police say a 5th person found in the apartment was released without being charged.
SIU officials say they confiscated approximately 16.7 grams of Fentanyl, 12.1 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, Suboxone sublingual strips, drug packaging items and digital scales, a loaded 38-millimeter revolver, a loaded .22-caliber firearm with an attached “silencer”, brass knuckles and a metal knuckle knife.
