LG&T Tennis Challenger Championships Determined

The singles and doubles championships were decided Sunday afternoon in the Levene, Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger held at Recreation Park in Binghamton.  The championship rounds wrapped up the week-long event.

In the doubles competition Max Purcell and Luke Saville defeated J C Aragone and Alex Lawson 6-4, 4-6, 10-5.  That was followed by the singles championship match.  In that one Yuichi Sugita defeated Jaoa Menezes 7-6(2), 1-6, 6-2.

The annual event is part of the USTA Pro Circuit and features many outstanding young professionals looking to advance to higher paydays and top competition.
