The Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger is going on all week at Recreation Park on Binghamton's West Side.  Competition continues through Sunday when both the singles and doubles championships will be decided.  The tournament is the 11th USTA Pro Circuit & ATP Challenger 80 event.

Tennis takes center stage for the week but there are plenty of other events that are part of the festivities. Tomorrow (Wednesday) competition begins at 10:00 AM.  All tickets can be purchased at the gate.  Also scheduled from 4-7 PM is the B C Humane Society's Dog Adopt-A-Thon.  At 4:30 PM spectators can watch the Fast Serve Contest.

The USTA Pro Circuit is the largest developmental tennis circuit in the world.  It provides a road to excel and is a pathway to the US Open and higher tour level competition.  USTA Pro Circuit competition is now in its 40th season.
