Charges are pending against a Middleburry, Pennsylvania man after a Bradford County man was hit and killed while operating an old riding lawnmower June 4.

State Police say 52 year old Robert Bolt of Millerton was riding the mower on Hammon Creek Road in Wells Township at 10:47 p.m. when he was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 24 year old Ryan Austin.

Troopers accuse Austin of fleeing the scene.

Authorities say Bolt was riding south on Route 328 at the Route 549 intersection around a quarter mile south of the New York State border when he was hit by the dark-colored pickup truck traveling in the same direction.

State Police say their investigation is continuing.
