The Downtown Binghamton Business Association's 57th Annual July Fest continues through this (Sunday) afternoon in downtown Binghamton.  Musical entertainment is scheduled on the Mobile Sound Stage at the corner of Court and State Streets.  Numerous vendors have various items on display as well.

Rain dampened the event yesterday and caused about a 45 minute delay in the BlackLites R&B Show Band performance on Saturday evening.  The group has entertained at the July Fest celebration for the past five years and drew another large crowd.  Even following the rain delay many people stayed to watch and listen.

Highlighted was the saxophone performance of local musician Mike Carbone.  Carbone arranges the musical lineup for July Fest each year and also is featured with the popular group Splash who played before a big crowd on Friday night.  He rocked the crowd with several saxophone performances onstage with the BlackLites.
