Johnson Woman Accused of Stealing a Purse From a Shopping Cart

A Johnson City woman is accused of stealing an elderly woman’s purse from a shopping cart.

Village Police say 36 year old Rikki Swackhammer was arrested December 5 and is charged with felony grand larceny in connection with the theft of the pocketbook from the 82 year old victim.

Swackhammer was sent to the Broome County Jail pending further action in Broome County Court.
