Johnson City Woman Arrested After Two Month Investigation

A Johnson City woman is accused of breaking into a home in the Village, stealing items and stealing from a local retailer.

Johnson City Police say an over two-month-long investigation into the burglary has resulted in 37-year-old Caroline Lewis being charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Police say they received a report in February about the break-in at a home on the South side and then developed information about the larceny from a retailer earlier this month.

Lewis was sent to the Broome County Jail pending further court action.
