The project will keep storm water from mixing in with the sanitary sewer lines by separating the two systems.

Construction between Harrison and Elizabeth Streets as well as on Harrison and Hudson Streets between Grand Avenue and Floral Avenue will “re-commence” September 18 and is due to be finished by late next month.

Officials say the streets will be open to local traffic only between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Motorists can expect delays and should look for alternate routes.
