Police in Johnson City say a village man was charged with felony criminal contempt following a reported domestic dispute.

Authorities say 32-year-old Darryl Lynch was arrested after a fight with a woman police described as a live-in girlfriend.

Lynch also was charged with second-degree harassment.

Police say Lynch was accused of grabbing the woman by the hair and pulling her around. They say he also threatened to kill the woman.

Investigators say Lynch violated an order of protection issued by Endicott village court.

Lynch was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
