Johnson City Man Charged in Residential Burglary

Johnson City police say a village man has been arrested in connection with a burglary investigation.

Authorities say 27-year-old Charles White is suspected of entering a friend's apartment in a building on Broad Street while she was away. Several items were reported stolen in the incident.

Detectives say White was arrested on Tuesday. He was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony.

White was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
