Johnson City Man Arrested After Dispute

A Johnson City man faces a felony charge following a reported fight with a woman outside a village business.

Authorities say 58-year-old Frederick Foster was arrested in connection with a physical dispute as the woman was leaving the Walmart store on Gannett Drive.

According to Johnson City police, Foster violated an order of protection that had been issued by village court.

Foster was charged with felony aggravated criminal contempt. He also faces a count of second-degree harassment.

Foster was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
