Job Training Funds Available in Tioga County

The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is making on-the-job training funds available for businesses and organizations in Tioga County.

Businesses can get up to half of the wages paid for each new or existing full time worker who participates in the training program.

The Chamber is administering the program in partnership with the Tioga Employment Center.

Officials say the funds will be used to provide an employee with additional training needed in order to fulfill increased job responsibilities.

The program begins January 1.
