Future NBA star Victor Wembanyama is being encouraged not to quit his day job before he's even spent a single day on the job.

Wembanyama, the presumptive first overall pick in Thursday's NBA Entry Draft, was at Yankee Stadium ahead of Tuesday's game between New York and Seattle. The lanky basketball star took the mound to deliver a ceremonial first pitch, and remained on the field to interact with fans before the game began. It was during these interactions that the baseball novice chucked a ball into the stands, which is a relatively common thing to do.

The throw, however, was delivered with the kind of velocity that made Aaron Boone say...something...that you can't say on TV or radio, and the entire thing was hilarious.

Wembanyama's Heave Makes Yankees' Skipper Boone Go "Oh S***" in Dugout

All was seemingly going well on the field at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday for future NBA'er, Victor Wembanyama. Standing at 7′ 2″ and towering over everyone, Wembanyama was all smiles as he was greeted by fans, players and media members before he threw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the game beginning.

The pitch was...well, let's just say it would've led to a 1-0 count:

Though the pitch was a bit subpar, he tried his hardest, and seemed to enjoy the experience. The pitch was far from the highlight of the evening, however, as another of Wembanyama's tosses was caught on video, and has since gone viral.

The man they call Wemby wound up to throw a ball into the stands at Yankee Stadium, and that's when this happened:

Yes, the throw from Wembanyama was wildly fast for the situation, but the star of this video is Aaron Boone. His genuine "oh s***" reaction was priceless, and his incredulous stare after it happened was equally as funny.

So, it appears as though, unlike players like Bo Jackson, Michael Jordan and Kyler Murray, Victor Wembanyama will remain a one-sport athlete for the majority of his basketball career. Even if he chooses to add another sport, it also appears that baseball won't crack the top of that list.
