Support Local Families With Price Chopper’s Spring Food Drive
Price Chopper and Market 32 stores are currently holding their Spring food donation drive across the region and all 129 stores are participating. While they always have CHOW barrels in their stores, they are doing something in addition by putting together food bags to be donated to area organizations.
You are encouraged to stop at all the different Price Chopper/Market 32 stores in our area because the store that you stop and shop at will determine where the bags are donated to.
For instance, if you are visiting my neighborhood Price Chopper in Chenango Bridge, they are putting bags together for the families of the Children’s Home of Wyoming Conference.
My daughter, Tara, works at the Price Chopper in Montrose and their bags are going toward a local food bank in Montrose. For just $10, you can buy a bag when you check out. Every bag contains pantry staples like elbow macaroni, peanut butter, kidney beans, soup, tuna, and chunk chicken.
Bags can be purchased now through this Saturday, April 19th and bonus points if you buy from my wife or my sister in law at the Chenango Bridge store, or my daughter at the Montrose location. Just kidding, I have no bonus points to give and the real winners are the families connected to the Children’s Home and the Montrose food bank..

So please consider making a bag purchase at your local Price Chopper/Market 32 store while out doing your Easter shopping this week. If we all do a little, no one has to do a lot.
