Emergency crews were called to a Tioga County home after it became surrounded by water due to an ice jam in the Susquehanna River.

According to WBNG-TV 12 News, the Campville Fire Department rescued a man and a dog from a residence on Kinney Road.

Fire units were sent to the Town of Owego home around 7:30 Sunday evening. The Apalachin Fire Department was placed on standby until the rescue operation was completed. No injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning after the Susquehanna River ice jam was reported. The warning is scheduled to be in effect until 9:30 Monday morning.

Locations near the river in Campville, Apalachin and Owego may experience flooding.

Emergency agencies across upstate New York have been monitoring conditions along rivers and streams because of ice jam concerns.
