The Village is conducting its autumn hydrant flushing that is done to check the operations of hydrants and to flush sediment out of the water lines.

Residents may experience a change in water pressure or discolored water in areas where the flushing is taking place.  If discoloration is noticed, residents should run the cold water tap until it clears up. It’s temporary and does not pose a health hazard.

The flushing is due to be done between 10 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. through October 16.
