Homer Man Accused of Injuring Woman and Infant in Domestic Incident
A Homer man is facing over a half-dozen charges after Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say they responded to a domestic incident that left a woman and infant with injuries.
32-year-old Christopher Francis is accused of fighting with the woman while the infant was present in the home, causing injuries then intentionally causing damage to the vehicle they were in while transporting the woman and child to the hospital.
Among the counts, Francis is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of misdemeanor assault, harassment, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.
An order of protection has been issued on behalf of the woman and child.
