Hobart Man Found With Pot Farm on Property

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigating a crash on Terry Road in the Town of Harpersfield October 20 say they found a marijuana growing operation in full view when they traced the driver to his home in Hobart.

Authorities say when they got on the scene of the single-vehicle crash, they found the driver had left.

Investigators determined 62-year-old Ralph Leonard was driving and went to his home where they saw the marijuana grow-op.

Leonard is charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana, unlawful growing of cannabis, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration, unlicensed operation of a vehicle and several traffic infractions related to the crash.

Leonard was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $4,000 bail.
