Section 4 Football teams enter their final regular season weekend with plenty of big games and backyard rivalry battles.  A lot of eyes will be focused on two of the area's premier teams who meet in Elmira.  Maine-Endwell travels to Elmira to face the Express on Saturday at 1:30.  The Spartans have now won 45 consecutive games including last weekend's 42-0 shutout over Johnson City.  The Express toppled Binghamton 47-27 to up their overall record to 6-1 and 6-0 in their division.

One of the area's biggest rivalry games will be at Chenango Valley when the Warriors host Chenango Forks at 1:30 Saturday (1:25 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The only blemish on the Blue Devils record is a 20-7 loss at Maine-Endwell.  CV has been hit by a number of injuries and carries a mark of 2-5 into Saturday's battle.

WNBF will also be at Union-Endicott Friday night at 7 PM for the Tigers match-up with Horseheads. Horseheads is 1-6 while U-E comes in at 2-5.  The Tigers defeated Vestal last time they played home at Ty Cobb Stadium.
