Harpursville Students’ Design Selected for White House Easter Egg Roll
A piece of the Southern Tier is to be featured on the White House lawn April 2.
An Easter egg design by Harpursville Central School district juniors Annamarie Goosley and Tori Johnson, along with art teacher Ann McDonald has been selected to represent New York State for the annual Easter Egg Roll in Washington D.C.
Over 700 designs were submitted in New York State.
The winning entry features the New York City skyline, a tapped tree and New York’s State Bird: the blue bird.
